Children’s Dental Health Month

Little People’s Dental is excited to be involved with Children’s Dental Health Month. We love the focus on children’s oral hygiene and we love to be out in the community. This month we will be involved in the Give Kids A Smile Day at the University of Utah, the Safe Kid’s Fair at the South Towne Expo, and we have some elementary school visits set up.

Give Kids A Smile Day

The Give Kids A Smile Day was founded by the American Dental Association in 2003 and is day that dentists and staff provide their time and services to under-served children. The dental community  comes together to provide free exams, treatment, and tries to educate families to combat future dental problems. Each year half a million children nationwide benefit from this event.

Safe Kids Fair

The Safe Kid’s Fair is a FREE event held at the South Towne Expo Center from 9am to 5pm on February 25th. Bring your kids for some fun, stop by our booth and visit for a minute. We love seeing our patients outside of the office.

Here’s what Kids Out and About have to say about the event:

“There is fun for the whole family including activities, entertainment, freebies, music and games! The best part is – the event is FREE. Interact with the police dogs, play in the playground, check out the cool fire trucks, say hi to your favorite station personalities, ride around in the bike rodeo, take your picture with Marvel’s Captain America and more! The first 200 children get a free helmet”

We love Children’s Dental Health Month and all that it stands for!
